Meskipun lapak tempat berjualan bambu tersebut masih mengontrak, namun usaha penjualan bambu yang telah ia lakoni sejak 2014 itu sudah memberikan keuntungan yang lumayan.
Dari hasil usaha tersebut, Jongkir mengaku, mampu membeli lahan kosong seluas 1050 meter per segi pada tujuh tahun silam.

One of the bamboo sellers on Jalan Fatahillah, Watubelah, Sumber District, Jongkir (43) admitted that he had received many orders since the start of the campaign period.
He explained, from December 2023 to January 2024, bamboo sales increased significantly.
In particular, the bamboo that sells best is bamboo that is still intact. On average, people who buy bamboo come from political parties.
"Most political parties buy them intact, then cut them up themselves," said Jongkir.
He revealed that in one day sales of intact bamboo reaches up to 1000 stems.
According to him, sales in December 2023 increased significantly, while in January 2024 sales began to decline.
"At the end of January it started to decline, it started to return to normal and we were able to sell 200 to 300 bamboo sticks per day. The calculated price is IDR 15 thousand per stick.
"One bundle contains four bamboo sticks," said Jongkir.
